GOOD MORNING LADIES AND GENTS,
Welcome to another Friday and the weekend to follow. May it be a great one for you all, my son and his family are coming up, so my posts maybe few or none for the next week or so. Let's see what is happening today:
JUNE BUG DAY - When I looked up June Bug Days, it was a beauty pageant. There was nothing to honor any kind of bug. To me the June Bug is really the Lady Bug, it never hurts anyone, I love them.
TAILOR'S DAY - I worked in mens wear for many years, I met some great tailors of the trade Tony, Luigi, Alphonso and Vincenzo and I'm not making up the names. Some of them allowed me to do cuffs and plain bottoms on pants and even a great secret which I cannot give away today.
DANIEL BOONE DAY - He was an pioneer, explorer, and frontiers man whose exploits made him one of the first folk heros of the United States. Boone is most famous for his exploration and settlement of what is now Kentucky,
which was then part of Virginia but on the other side of the mountains
from the settled areas. Despite some resistance from American Indian
tribes such as the Shawnee, in 1775, Boone blazed his Wilderness Road through the Cumberland Gap in the Appalachian Mountains.
CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM DAY - My favorite, need I say more. Have a great weekend.
