Good Monday Morning on this 22'nd of October Guys and Dolls:
Today we celebrate Mother-in-Law Day, all I can say is that I have no concern. Amen to that holiday. If you have a great mother-in-law consider yourself lucky.
PORK MONTH - I'm not a big fan of Pork except for good ribs. A few weeks ago Roe purchased some Pork Spareribs from a local Winn-Dixie. She prepared them in a crock pot with some Kansas City sauce and what a treat. Slow cooking for several hours some of the meat fell off the bones and others did not. Throw on your plate some steak fries and what a feast. You can have your pulled Pork sandwiches, I'll take my Pork ribs any day.
Today is also "NUT DAY." I don't mean the crazies running wild but the type we eat. Joey Z loves his nuts, especially Pistachios, Cashews, Peanuts, Boiled Peanuts, Almonds and other varieties. Do you remember over the Christmas holidays the big bowl of nut with the nut cracker and pick. What family did not have those out in Trenton for company? I think not only in New Jersey but across the U.S.
Being it is a Monday, I will let you all get back to work. I wish you all a great day and a wonderful evening.
