HELLO SPEAKIES:
FIRST OF ALL I WOULD LIKE TO WISH ALL MY GUYS AND DOLLS CELEBRATING THEIR BIRTHDAYS AND ANNIVERSARIES TODAY A VERY HAPPY ONE. LET US SEE WHO IS DEAD OR ALIVE HAD THEIRS TODAY:
LET ME OUT MOMMY
1925 - JOHNNY CARSON - A GREAT HOST OF THE TONIGHT SHOW. I NEVER WATCHED TOO MANY SHOWS, BUT HE WAS FUNNY, ESPECIALLY WITH DON RICKELS.
1931 - JIM BUNNING - GREAT PITCHER FOR THE PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES.
1938 - JOHN HEINZ - PA SENATOR AND THE KETCHUP KING.
1959 - "WEIRD AL" YANKOVIC - HE TURNED SONGS INTO GREAT PARODIES. MY SON AND ROE WENT TO SEE HIM AT PLEASURE ISLAND YEARS AGO. MY SON SPOTTED HIM, HE STOPPED AND SIGNED HIS CD. NICE GUY.
UP OR DOWN THERE NOW
1983 - JESSICA SAVITCH, NEWS CASTER. I REMEMBER HER FROM THE LOCAL PHILADELPHIA TV NEWS. DIED AT SUCH A YOUNG AGE. SHE DROWNED IN A CANAL IN NEW HOPE, PA AFTER HAVING DINNER.
1984 - DAVID GORCEY - ONE OF THE ORIGINAL "DEAD END KIDS", MOVIE SERIES.
TODAY WE CELEBRATE "BOSTON CREAM PIE DAY." IT IS A GOOD PIE BUT NOT EXACTLY ONE OF MY FAVORITES. IF IT IS YOURS ENJOY.
THAT IS IT FOR TODAY, HAVE A GREAT ONE.
