HAPPY HUMP DAY GUYS AND DOLLS:

EVEN THOUGH I NO LONGER CELEBRATE HUMP DAY I PROMISE TO MAKE ALL MY SPEAKIES AWARE THAT I AM THERE FOR YOU. FOOD TIME!!!!!!
IN OCTOBER WE CELEBRATE SEAFOOD, ONE OF MY FAVORITE DISHES. I KNOW SOME OF YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO SEAFOOD BUT I HAVE TO LET THOSE KNOW WHO ARE NOT OF THIS GREAT CELEBRATION. LET'S LIST OUR FAVORITE DISHES, STARTING OF COURSE WITH MINE. NOW I HATE TO SOUND LIKE A BROKEN RECORD BUT REPLY TO MY POSTS WITH COMMENTS. PLEASE DO NOT BE SHY AND IF YOU SAY SOMETHING I DON'T LIKE, ZAP YOU ARE GONE!
FLOUNDER - ANY WAY FRIED, BROILED, BAKED, BLACKENED OR IN A SANDWICH. HADDOCK AND COD ALSO GET THE NOD ON THIS ONE.
CATFISH - FRIED OR BLACKENED, NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD EAT IT UNTIL MOVING DOWN SOUTH AS LONG AS I KNOW IT IS FARM RAISED AND NOT OUT OF SOME POLLUTED LAKE.
CRAB - I HAVE ENJOYED THEM IN SALADS AND DIPS, STILL WAITING TO TRY BLUE CRABS OR MY FIRST SOFT SHELLED CRAB SANDWICH.
SCALLOPS - LOVE THEM ANYWAY YOU COOK THEM.
SHRIMP - DONE IN COCKTAIL SAUCE, FRIED, OR IN SCAMPI, IN TACOS AND MY DAUGHTER-IN-LAWS MEXICAN SHRIMP.
LOBSTER - JOEY Z'S TREAT ON A CRUISE SHIP, ALL I CAN EAT.
SMOKED WHITE FISH - A GREAT SNACK, WHICH I HAVE NOT EATEN IN YEARS.
PICKLED HERRING IN A JAR OR AS THE POLISH WOULD CALL IT "MARYNOWANE SLEDZIE."
WE HAVE PLENTY OF FOOD TO TALK ABOUT THIS MONTH. TOMORROW CHILI AND APPLES AND DON'T FORGET THOSE COMMENTS.
