Good Morning Speakies:
Welcome to Thursday, February 21. First of all I want to wish my cousin Tom a very "HAPPY BIRTHDAY WITH MORE TO COME. STOLAT!" Tom reads my blog everyday and I still remember the good old days when we hung out in South Trenton and all the fun we shared.
Let us see what today brings as far as celebrations go.
WORLD THINKING DAY - Should be considered dangerous for most countries. Plenty of nimyos' reside in the world today and we do not want them thinking too much.
LOVE YOUR PET DAY - Our family will always hold our dog Luee's memory close in our hearts. He was a great Lab mix and just lovable as a dog could be. If you have pets take care of them, show affection and see how much they will love you back for it. There is too much animal cruelty in the US alone. Practically everyday in Florida there is a news story about it. Let's stop the cruelty now.
As for food, today is "STICKY BUN DAY." I was never a fan of sticky buns, too much of that glaze on your fingers trying to eat them. A nice cream filled doughnut like the ones I ate growing up would suit me fine.
NATIONAL CHERRY MONTH - I would have to say my favorites are the Bing Cherries and the Royal Ann Cherries. Some other ones you may enjoy are the Lambert and Rainier Cherries. Cherry Pie can also be enjoyed today. Washington State is the largest supplier of cherries grown on the West Coast, Canada and Chile, just for a fact.
Now for something new for my blog. This will be an assignment for Zippy to do now from time to time. What is it you ask? FUNNY BOOK TITLES. I use to love them as a kid so here are some you may remember.
April Fool's by Sue Prize.
50 Years in the Saddle by Major Asburn
A Boxing Cornerman's Story by Dawson DeTowel
Blond Hair by Bim Bow
Enjoy the day Speakies.

There was the classic "The Yellow Stream", by I.P. Daily
Or, "20 Yards To The Outhouse", by Willie Makit
Skipping along
Skip, those were true classics I agree.
