Happy Last Hump Day in August Speakies:
Well it’s August 31, 2011 and the summer is almost over, except in this state where the summer heat won’t go away until October. The end of August was always a sad time for me when I was little, summer was almost over, school was just around the corner and my play time would soon be cut short. If that did not make a kid sad nothing would. Here’s a little quick poem just made up by Joey Z:
THE END OF AUGUST IS HERE
ALL THE KIDS FEAR SCHOOL IS NEAR
I’M NOT SHEDDING ANY TEARS
I’M GOING TO GET ANOTHER BEER

Autumn is my favorite season so I love the coming of September:)
At least you see the leaves fall and change color. Ours just falls.
