Good Morning Speakies:
Well it’s that favorite work day of the week Friday, the day we say, “I’ll do that on Monday.” It’s the day of the long coffee break, that little than longer lunch and more time at the water cooler day picking those football games on Sunday. Let’s see what observances there are this weekend.
Friday, October 2:
Guardian Angels Day – I believe in them, I once heard dogs are our guardian angels.
National Fallen Firefighters Day – God Bless each one.
National Custodial Workers Day – They need one after cleaning up our mess.
World Smile Day – I wish that could happen one day or that quote from many a beauty pageant, “I Wish for World Peace.”
Saturday, October 3:
Change a Light Day – Just move a few bulbs around.
World Card Making Day – This holiday is for you Roe.
Sunday, October 4:
Blessing of the Fishing Fleet – Keep them boats afloat.
World Communication Day – We need that more than ever.
If any of my Speakies are celebrating birthdays or anniversaries, have a great time and enjoy. Most of all be careful out there. Have a great weekend and I’ll see you on Monday.

Luee
We adopted Luee from the Humane Society in 1996. He was 2 years old, but still a pup. He has slowed down a bit; his age is catching up to him. He is the best dog anyone could ever have. Luee had to be put to sleep on April 15, 2009. Rest in Peace Pup.
