Luee

Luee
We adopted Luee from the Humane Society in 1996. He was 2 years old, but still a pup. He has slowed down a bit; his age is catching up to him. He is the best dog anyone could ever have. Luee had to be put to sleep on April 15, 2009. Rest in Peace Pup.

DOWN WITH THE LOCAL NEWS

I’m Steaming Speakies:

I wrote a whole chapter in my book about the local news and weather reporting, you need to purchase my book and read me in my full attack mode. I’m writing this now because the weather reporting at all our local news stations is becoming a fine madness. For the past few weeks our temperatures have been in the mid-90’s and I mean hot and humid, it’s like stepping into an oven. We live in Florida, this is the type of weather we have in the summer. Florida can not help it if Indian Summer stays occasionally into October. I would personally like to see a cool down and it will come. I like warm weather better than shoveling snow and freezing my butt off. I would never want to dress and look like Randy that little kid in a Christmas Story movie.

Here’s my beef, last night our local TV news which lasts an hour and a half and repeats most of the stories twice, featured the hot weather at least 6 times. Same comments, “It’s sure hot outside, when will there be some relief Bob?” I’ll tell you relief will come when it RAINS. All I can say is give us the important news stories, not the weather every 5 minutes. By the way while I’m at it tell the Sport’s anchor there are more teams than the Florida Gators to report on.
