Luee

Luee
We adopted Luee from the Humane Society in 1996. He was 2 years old, but still a pup. He has slowed down a bit; his age is catching up to him. He is the best dog anyone could ever have. Luee had to be put to sleep on April 15, 2009. Rest in Peace Pup.

BASEBALL, CALENDAR AND SCHOOL LUNCHES

Good Day Again Guys and Dolls:

Wishing you all a very happy Tuesday. And for all you Phillies fans out there this day is a little happier. What a great come back game last night and now on to face the Dodgers. I would love to see a Phillies – Yankees World Series and a little pay back for the 1950 series loss. Oh well I can dream. This week and all week long we celebrate the following:

Emergency Nurses Week – I guess that’s for those E-Room saints.
Home Based Business Week – Sell those home made products.
National Chestnut Week – This should be in December to go along with roasting on an open fire.
National School Lunch Week – Remember the good old days of macaroni and cheese, hot dogs, hamburgers and all those other great lunch specials. In grammar school we had those Philadelphia hot soft pretzels on sale for 10 cents each after lunch. We also had a choice of three drinks, white milk, chocolate milk or an orange drink. My grammar school was in the Polish neighborhood where I grew up and those Polish ladies in the cafeteria sure could cook.

Let me know what food you had for lunch favorites. Now come on if you read you can answer my questions, let’s get a little action going here. Have a nice day and be careful out there. I may be back.
