Hello Speakies: Well it's Monday, June 8, 2009 and not much happening in the way of celebrations. The only celebration today is "Upsy Daisy Day". Sounds like fun so celebrate to your hearts content. It's June the start of vacation season, feel free to let me know your favorite spots to visit. If your coming to Central Florida and need information drop me a line. Don't forget we are also trying to find out your favorite pizza places.
We have a great foody treat in Trenton, NJ, called Pork Roll, people from Jersey and Philly are familiar with this grand old sandwich meat. It's round and you can fry it in a pan or on the grill. It makes a great sandwich or serve it with eggs for breakfast. Now I like mine with eggs for breakfast, even a egg and porkroll sandwich is great. My favorite is a cheesepork roll with spicy mustard and relish on a hard round roll, if that's not available, a hamburger bun will do. Let me know Speakies how you like yours. If you never tried it you may find it at your local grocery store, it's called Taylor Pork Roll. There is a site that will start taking orders again in August. It's called porkrollexpress. Check it out.
