Hello Speakies:
I'm sure some of you will be visiting Central Florida on vacation this summer. Taking the little ones to Disney, or visiting the beaches remember it's hot down here. Right now the temperature is around 98 degrees and with the heat index, it feels like 106 outside. Whatever you do activity wise, don't rush, drink plenty of water and if you burn, put on the sunscreen and most of all keep your cool, tempers flare when it's hot.
If you visit the beaches beware of the riptides and don't venture out to far or you'll never come back. Lifeguards had to rescue 200 swimmers this weekend due the the riptides in one county alone. So take Joey Z's advice, play it safe and have a great time in Florida. Maybe Governor Charlie can throw me a few bucks for a tourism slot on my blog. What do you say Gov?
Talk to you Speakies tomorrow, have a great evening.
