1718 - Thomas Chippendale - English furniture maker, bull he really started the dancers, furniture was a side job during the day.
1878 - Francisco (Pancho) Villa - Mexican revolutionary.
1895 - William Boyd - Hopalong Cassidy fame.
1956 - Kenny G. - Saxophonist.
Died Today:
1864 - General William E. "Grumble" Jones - Killed at Piedmont - Never heard of him.
On this Day:
1616 - Issac Newton - Becomes a student at Trinity College, Cambridge England - He's the apple theory man.
1876 - Bananas become popular in the US, at the Centennial Expo in Philly.
1912 - US Marines invade Cuba for the third time - they should have stayed there.
1917 - 10 Million US men begin registering for the draft in WWI.
1952 - Jersey Joe Walcott beats Ezzard Charles for the heavyweight boxing title.
1964 - Davie Jones and the King Bees debut, later the group disbands but Davie Jones goes on to success as David Bowie.

Luee
We adopted Luee from the Humane Society in 1996. He was 2 years old, but still a pup. He has slowed down a bit; his age is catching up to him. He is the best dog anyone could ever have. Luee had to be put to sleep on April 15, 2009. Rest in Peace Pup.
