Today, April 30th is National Mr. Potato Head Day. So in honor of this classic toy, today's post is to remind you of all the fun you had with your own Mr. Potato Head. Back when I was little, I had the original one, yes you had to use a real potato. I personally favored an Idaho Potato, much longer and you could make use of the various attachments that came with him.
He now comes equipped with his own torso, so potatoes are no longer needed. Progress is wonderful. So if you want to rekindle your childhood days, see if you have your old toy hiding in the cellar or attic. If not maybe go buy a new one and share the joy of creating with your children or grandchildren. Happy Mr. Potato Head Day to you all.
