Luee

Luee
We adopted Luee from the Humane Society in 1996. He was 2 years old, but still a pup. He has slowed down a bit; his age is catching up to him. He is the best dog anyone could ever have. Luee had to be put to sleep on April 15, 2009. Rest in Peace Pup.

CRAB IT'S WHAT'S FOR DINNER THIS WEEKEND

HAPPY FRIDAY AND WEEKEND WISHES SPEAKIES:

Stopping by as usual to wish you all a great Friday and the same for the weekend. Lots of holidays to celebrate today and the weekend so let’s get started and as usual comments by Joey Z.

PANIC DAY – We can always start another “War of the Worlds” broadcast like in 1938 by Orson Welles. I think there is too much panic in the US these days, less panic the better.

NAME TAG DAY – My first name tag was when I was born, the second in Kindergarten with Joey on it, the next one was 17 years later in the service. You’re born with a tag and you go out with a tag.

EMPLOYEE APPRECIATION DAY – For those of us, who are appreciated, thanks for the day.

Happy Birthday to Barbie Dolls today born in 1959. What a rich doll.

Last but not least “CRABMEAT DAY.” Crab only second to Lobster as one of Joey Z’s favorite seafood’s. I’ve eaten crab meat already shelled, King Crab legs but never enjoyed a real crab feast with the newspaper on the table, hammers and just making a mess. Most of the cruise ships offer specialty dining and once I had a choice of ordering Joe’s Stone Crabs imported from Miami or a steak, dumb me I chose steak, but one day I will have my Stone Crab. So for all you Seafood Speakies get out there this weekend and chow down those crabs. Have a great weekend and be careful out there.

The problem with being "A Dad" down the shore, after hauling a few bushels of crabs in, was being able to crack them faster than a table full on hungry kids could eat them. There were a few great years for crab on LBI but the next year would be empty traps.

Your "movie" clip reminded me of a spoof on the old Micky Spillane series:

A blonde walked by my window the other day; she was tall. I knew she was tall, my office is on the second floor. She said she had a case; so we drank it ...

Good Line Skip on the Spillane. Still have to try cracking crabs on a table with the hammer.

I don't want to swim with them Mack, just crack them open and eat. I've never been to Metedeconk. Have to check it out on the web. Thanks for the posts.
