Luee

Luee
We adopted Luee from the Humane Society in 1996. He was 2 years old, but still a pup. He has slowed down a bit; his age is catching up to him. He is the best dog anyone could ever have. Luee had to be put to sleep on April 15, 2009. Rest in Peace Pup.

GOING MY WAY

Guys and Dolls:

I read a story today on the net from one of our local TV stations concerning amnesty for snakes. Gatorland is having Snake Amnesty Day, Saturday, October 3, 2009 for all types of exotic snakes. There have been numbers of exotic type snakes like Burmese Pythons turned loose in the Everglades and other locations due to their size or owners who can’t feed or manage them. It’s a great idea for all those bozos that purchased them and thought they would make great pets, but as owners they failed and now realize they could not even handle a Hermit Crab. What about those snakes in the wild, all alone out there? Can you imagine hundreds of pythons and other exotic snakes crawling up I-95 and the Orange Blossom Trail hoping to make it to Gatorland for Amnesty Day. Big snakes, little snakes carrying signs, “Gatorland or Bust” or thumbing rides. I can vision it now, snakes hoping for a ride in a pick-up truck so they could stretch out in comfort.

HATS OFF TO YOU GATORLAND, A GREAT GESTURE FOR NATURE. NOW IF WE ONLY HAD AN AMNESTY DAY FOR BOZOS.
