I AM STOPPING BY TO PAY MY RESPECTS TO ALL THOSE BRAVE AMERICAN SOLDIERS WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR THIS COUNTRY. MAY THEY ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED IN OUR PRAYERS AND THOUGHTS THIS DAY AND EVERY MEMORIAL DAY THAT FOLLOWS. MAY WE NEVER AGAIN HAVE TO SEND OUR BOYS TO FOREIGN SOIL AND HAVE THEM SHED THEIR LIVES FOR OTHER WARS.
ENJOY THE HOLIDAY GUYS AND DOLLS.

I'll tip back on for down at "The Hall" for those who can't be there with us. Later that evening a cup of sake for the Jap who they took out of the boonies at a remote spot I had been in for a dip just a day or two before. His stock had "rot" but he kept his powder dry. How he survived in a hole in the rock for 40 years, right or wrong reasons? Who am I to ask why but you certainly have my respect.
Skip.
And to "Bad Toe" and Jimmy "D" who are no longer with us nor is cousin Gene, of Kalina Kielbasa who served on Okinawa and I just learned of his passing today. All I can offer you is a salty tear and a crisp salute.
SKIP: KIELBASA WILL NEVER BE THE SAME. THANKS FOR THE POST.
