Luee

Luee
We adopted Luee from the Humane Society in 1996. He was 2 years old, but still a pup. He has slowed down a bit; his age is catching up to him. He is the best dog anyone could ever have. Luee had to be put to sleep on April 15, 2009. Rest in Peace Pup.

MONDAY ONCE AGAIN

Good Day Speakies:

Not much to say, it’s Monday once again and let’s hope the day goes by quickly. Hoping you all had a nice weekend and did all the things you wanted to do. All I’m gonna say now is “Oklahoma, where the wind comes sweepin’ down the plain, and the wavin’ wheat can sure smell sweet. It’s time for dumb state laws and today’s winner is OKLAHOMA, so let’s go:

Cars must be tethered outside of public buildings – Ya gotta watch out for them car rustlers.

Dogs must have a permit signed by the mayor in order to congregate in groups of three or more on private property – I can just imagine the dogs heading up the stairs of City Hall.

Fish may not be contained in fishbowls while on a public bus – a nice garbage bag will do.

It is against the law to read a comic book while operating a motor vehicle – why not I’ve seen idiot’s text.

It is illegal to have the hind legs of farm animals in your boots – I don’t even want to envision that.

It is illegal to wear your boots to bed – remember you are in cowboy town.

No one may spit on a sidewalk – that should be everywhere, disgusting

Whaling is illegal – I don’t think Moby Dick can make it inland that far.

People can be fined, arrested or jailed for making ugly faces at a dog – do it in front of a Pit Bull see what happens.

Have a great day Guys and Dolls, see you later.

Hi Joe:)
The play OKLAHOMA was done in
my Junior Four years 74-77..
I forget which year.. but we had
an Algebra class that met in the
Auditorium as there was no classroom available to do it in..
so when we arrived on many days
we would hear the play Oklahoma
being practiced:)
