Luee

Luee
We adopted Luee from the Humane Society in 1996. He was 2 years old, but still a pup. He has slowed down a bit; his age is catching up to him. He is the best dog anyone could ever have. Luee had to be put to sleep on April 15, 2009. Rest in Peace Pup.

STARTING TO GET MY GANDER UP

HELLO SPEAKIES:

JUST RETURNED FROM MY ALL DAY APPOINTMENTS IN ORLANDO AND THOUGHT I WOULD CHANGE MY MIXPOD PLAYLIST AROUND FOR SOME NEW MUSIC.  GUESS WHAT?  I CAN GO TO MIXPOD AND MY SONGS PLAY HOWEVER, I CAN'T EDIT THE LIST OR HEAR THE MUSIC ON MY BLOG.  SORRY FOR THIS, HEADS WILL ROLL AND CORRECTIONS WILL BE MADE.  I'M USING ROE'S LAP TOP RIGHT NOW AND CAN'T WAIT UNTIL WE HOOK UP THE NEW TOWER.  HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND SOUNDS LIKE IT WILL GET PRETTY WET HERE FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS.  I SHALL RETURN WITH AUGUST HOLIDAYS AND MY USUAL FOOD REVIEWS.  BY THE WAY STOPPED FOR LUNCH TODAY, GOOD PIZZA AT:

TOMASINO'S PIZZA
2612 E. COLONIAL DR.
ORLANDO, FLORIDA

ROE HAD THE SPECIAL OF THE DAY A SLICE OF CHEESE STEAK PIZZA, OUT OF SIGHT ON THE TASTE.  TRY THE PLACE IF YOU ARE A LOCAL OR VISITING.

AS ALWAYS, BE GOOD AND BE CAREFUL OUT THERE.

Well you will be wet but at least you will be wet "down there" versus wet and hungry in Trenton. There is dark news for we lovers of ethnic chow indeed. My bud and I decided on Trenton food so he drove 50 miles and we met at Polonia only to find it is now a real estate office. OK, we revert to the "fallback" old standby of DeLorenzo's on Hamilton and though they have cut back on hours, they are open. I hope this is the off day, because even Stan Musial or Ted Williams had one of those, but the sauce was bitter and the crust was the worst I have ever had. Dry, pasty tasting (but browned), uninspired white bread! I can't image a pie from there as bad but this was horrible. I will give them one more try but after that the only hope is the Robbinsville (Hudson Street cousin), but such is life.

Well, you are down there and congratulations on retirement. How far are you from good bass fishing? Being retired in Florida beats being retired in Noo-Joy-Zee.

Skip

Ho .. we did sit and paid tribute to a dark very closed Top Road, felt strange because just last year they had guys lined up waiting for the 11:00 lunch to open.

Polonia is closed, DeLorenzo's pies are going to pot you say
humanity is starting to suffer. You should have left the pie and gone to PaPa's for a pie or Rossi's for a burger.
Keep me advised. Bass fishing for me is 1/2 a block away, we have four lakes. My son went last Saturday, had one to the shore line and came off, lots of them in there too hot not biting. In a couple weeks after I get down with all these doctor appointments maybe a weekend on the coast with my rod. Thanks as usual, have a good one.
