Well its Monday once again. I would like to welcome a new Speakie from the Ukraine who stopped by yesterday, nice to have you in our group.
I forgot to mention Sunday was Chinese New Years, “The Year of the Tiger.” For all my Chinese readers, I wish you a Happy New Year. For all you visitors coming to Florida, the weather should be warming up by mid-week and highs should be normal around Friday which is in the mid 70’s.
We have some holidays today to raise our glasses to and they are:
Lupercalia – A very ancient Roman holiday to advert evil spirits and purify the city releasing health and fertility. – For all you dolls wanting children tonight might be the night.
Susan B. Anthony Day – She got on her own Silver Dollar, congrats Susie.
Shrove Monday
National Gum Drop Day – I always liked the spiced ones.
Presidents Day – Some of you lucky stiffs are off today.

Luee
We adopted Luee from the Humane Society in 1996. He was 2 years old, but still a pup. He has slowed down a bit; his age is catching up to him. He is the best dog anyone could ever have. Luee had to be put to sleep on April 15, 2009. Rest in Peace Pup.
