Luee

Luee
We adopted Luee from the Humane Society in 1996. He was 2 years old, but still a pup. He has slowed down a bit; his age is catching up to him. He is the best dog anyone could ever have. Luee had to be put to sleep on April 15, 2009. Rest in Peace Pup.

A GANDER GETTER

Hello Guys and Dolls:

Read an interesting news article this afternoon. The subject was the “Nation’s Cushiest Prisons.” Here is a list of the few mentioned:

Federal Correctional Complex at Butner, NC – Soon to be the home of Bernie Madoff. It is home to the largest prison system’s hospitals. Down point, inmates won’t receive internet access until July 2010. What will they do?

Federal Prison Camp at Alderson, W. VA – Nestled in the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains it was home to Martha Stewart. Nice climate, access to e-mail and inmates have a chance to reduce their sentences via on-site rehab and occupational programs like horticulture and cosmetology.

Federal Prison at Montgomery, AL – Located on Maxwell AFB. E-mail and on-site drug abuse treatment is available. Prisoners can study to be dog trainers or earn a commercial driver’s license. Just right, learn to drive a big rig for your next big heist.

Federal Prison Camp at Yankton, SD – Winters are tough, but the staff is easy. Cons can take classes in accounting, business administration and management. Learn to earn your Bernie Madoff Degree in 4 years.

I know these are medium security joints and prisoners who make a mistake are entitled to a fair shake after they do their time. A lot the guys do go straight after learning a lesson and congratulations to them. I know there are programs made available to the hardcore guys also. They become lawyers or know-it-alls about every subject in the universe while serving life sentences. Whatever happened to the good old days like the Trenton State Prison when I was kid, they made license plates and rubber balls. Point! A young kid, no future pulls off a small scheme gets in for 4 years to a medium security place, becomes a dog trainer, beautician etc. Hard working young man has to pay to go to school. What’s wrong with the picture here? More license plates and rubber balls needed.

Simply the views of Joey Z only.
