Good Morning Speakies:
Sorry for not writing for a few days but old JoeyZ had to have a heart cath done yesterday to check on the old ticker. Happy to report all is fine but the heart is getting older so I'm under Federal orders to take it easy for the next week. I'm going to let my mind rest and come back strong next week. So to all my Speakies, have a great week, love each other and be careful out there.

Luee
We adopted Luee from the Humane Society in 1996. He was 2 years old, but still a pup. He has slowed down a bit; his age is catching up to him. He is the best dog anyone could ever have. Luee had to be put to sleep on April 15, 2009. Rest in Peace Pup.

Glad to hear it's fine so rest easy. I'll be headed off to Hopewell to see one of the older Pine and Brunswick denizens for a haircut. Bobby Witokowski is in his 70's now.
When my son was small I took him in for a trim, he was about seven and would still fall for pranks. I told him were going to see my pal:
"Shaky Bob the blind barber! Hey Bob hows it going? Got your seeing eye dog around here today?" He never missed a beat and pretended he was feeling around while his hands shook then picked up and snapped the scissors. My kid froze like a stone for a moment.
Joe, save that one, put it in your back pocket for when one of the little guys needs a clipping.
Y'all rest up now here. I'm a retired "Fed" so I second that order. So Roe was a "G-Woman".
Think nice thoughts and try to find some Car 54 reruns .. Oooooooo oooooooo Chester, be quite JoeZ's napping!

No Roe was not a G-Woman, the Fed Doctors closed the Speakeasy down, no energy to write. Thanks for the good wishes. I lived next to a barber on Brunswick John's Barbershop. They were nice people.
