Luee

Luee
We adopted Luee from the Humane Society in 1996. He was 2 years old, but still a pup. He has slowed down a bit; his age is catching up to him. He is the best dog anyone could ever have. Luee had to be put to sleep on April 15, 2009. Rest in Peace Pup.

HISTORY FOR MAY 5TH

Happy Tuesday Readers,

Listen a Tuesday is better than a Monday to be at work. Here's a little history for today.

Born to us this date:

Actor Spencer Tracy, 1900
Actress Ann B. Davis, 1926 - Alice the Maid from the Brady Bunch
Michael Palin, 1943 - One of Monty Python's Gang

Died this Date: Nobody of great importance.

Stuff that Happened Today:

1494 - Christopher Columbus sights Jamaica on his 2nd voyage - Rum and Coke for all.
1847 - American Medical Association organized in Philly.
1867 - Battle of Pueblo; Mexicans defeat the French (Cinco de Mayo) - Party Time.
1912 - Commie Party newspaper Pravda first published.
1916 - U.S. Marines invade Dominican Republic, stay until 1924. I would stay too, it was probably nicer then.
1936 - Eddie Ravenscroft patents screw-on bottle cap with a pour lip - Take that Billy May.
1962 -"West Side Story" soundtrack album goes to #1 and stays #1 for 54 weeks. (That's for you Roe).
1962 - Los Angeles Angel Bo Belinsky no-hits Baltimore Orioles, 2-0. Way to go Trenton, NJ Boy.
1997 - "Married with Children" final episode on FOX TV - Al Bundy has had it.

The Words of Wisdom for Today - "A Plucked Goose doesn't lay Golden Eggs".
